Outdoor First Aid for Forest Schools and Outdoor Woodland Learning Practitioners - 16 Hours

Our Forest School and Outdoor Learning Practitioners first aid course is a 2-day (16 hour) first aid course, tailored to requirements of forest school practitioners, and includes child CPR and choking, child illness, hypothermia and outdoor scenarios.

This course concentrates on the context of 'Outdoors' rather than 'Remote', and has emphasis on young people and adult helpers. It does not deal with environments which are high altitude, or several hours from help.

Our Outdoor First Aid courses are fun, interactive and build the techniques required to confidently deal with incidents in outdoor settings. Courses can be tailored for a variety of contexts and activities and include practical outdoor scenarios.

Our courses meet the HSE standards for 'Due Diligence' for first aid providers.

Accreditation - The First Aid Training Co-operative is an ISO 9001:2015 certified organisation. You can reply on our quality assured systems for the appropriate training assessment and accreditation of your course. The Co-op is also a member of the Scottish First Aid Association and operative is insured through the Association of First Aiders, whom we are also members.
